There have been reports of bone toxicity when chemotherapy patients receiving regimens that include methotrexate. Methotrexate has also been associated with bone toxicity in patients receiving chemotherapeutic agents (like cisplatin) (Tuller et al. 1994; Rabinowitz 1997). It should be noted, however, that these cases are rare.
